Grower comments have been very favorable for cone size & yield, disease resistance, vigor, and fresh aroma. Brewers are also commenting very favorably on this new release. Michigan Copper™ is described as a vigorous super-aroma hop with very fragrant floral and tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Alphas & betas acids have averaged 8.81- 10.5 & 2.45.2.55 respectively, Cohumulone < 32%, and oils potentially reaching 1.75 ml/100g or higher. Growers report good vigorous growth and color with above average yields for first season production (to the wire). It has good resistance to downy mildew in ongoing field trials.
