Mackinac™ May have been a little slower out of the gates but has proven the favorite. This incredible hop is among the first new cultivar to be released from the GLH trials and breeding program in 2014. It has gained traction and praise across the United States since and has not only increased in demand but cannot be planted quickly enough to fulfill requests.

This hop has proven to execute wide utility and flavorful new beer styles that are trending toward these aromas and flavors. The moderately low cohumulone offers brewers a smoother brewing profile with excellent foam characteristics. It has good resistance to disease and insect pressure and is above average in vigor and yield for this class of hops. This hop was rated in the top 10% by both the brewer's trials and grower trials for new varieties in 2013.
