Product Description

Each item is one complete dormant crown, or a field-ready plant, depending on time of year: a plant that is a minimum of 1 growing season old with a well developed root system with multiple breaks taken from healthy vigorous stock.  It is professional quality and since it is a live rooted plant, it offers the best chance of successfully growing and producing your favorite cultivar of hops.
  • Maturity: mid-season with moderate growth
  • Yields: average for aroma class hops. 1000 -1200 lbs/acre,  large loose cones
  • Alpha Acids: 4.5-6.5%, Beta Acids: 1.9-2.8%, Cohumulone: 28-32%, total oils: .5-1 ml/100g, myrcene: 24%, humulene: 43%, caryophyllene: 14%, farnesene: < 1%
  • Storage stability: good @ 60-80%
  • Aroma: sweet citrus with floral notes, very pleasant to the nose
  • Beer styles: English  & Cream Ales, ESBs, any beer where smooth finishing aromas are desired
Grower notes: Good resistance to mildews & pests.  This variety does grow differently than other Goldings (as noted by western growers), Candidate for tighter spacing and narrow rows to boost yields per acre.  A specialist aroma hop. Prefers moderate temperatures with milder winters. Possibility for organic production in smaller yards.
